W artykule stawiam pytania: w jakim stopniu konsekwencje fujimorizmu kształtują polityczne oblicze Peru, jakie są najważniejsze, specyficzne cechy peruwiańskiego systemu politycznego i kultury politycznej, jakie podmioty dominują na scenie politycznej po upadku rządów Alberto Fujimoriego? W konsekwencji przemian zapoczątkowanych w okresie fujimorizmu, w Peru mamy do czynienia ze słabo zinstytucjonalizowanym systemem partyjnym, w którym dominują nieideologiczne (catch all parties), prosystemowe partie wodzowskie o charakterze centrolewicowym i centroprawicowym.

In this article I ask the questions: to what extent the consequences of fujimorism shape Peru's political scene; what are the most important and specific features of the Peruvian political system and political culture; what political factions dominate the scene after the fall of Alberto Fujimori? As a result of the changes that begun during fujimorism, Peru has poorly institutionalized party system in which non-ideological (catchall), pro-system parties of center-left and center--right dominate. Most political organizations do not have a permanent internal structure. The specificity of the Peruvian system of government are manifestations of its „parliamentarization”, what allows it to be labeled as a „hybrid” that combines, at least formally, elements of the presidential and parliamentary systems by introducing a prime minister institution who is politically responsible to the parliament, despite maintaining the principle that the president, elected in universal suffrage, is the chief of executive.
