The author takes into considerations the relationship between localization behaviors of the businesses and the societies of the globalized economy and the forms of physical structures and spaces of cities. He consideration these relations in the context of new business and new public spaces in contemporary city. Than the author, put the question if is it possible, and at what conditions to specify basic rules and laws governing these relationships? He analyzes them under the condition of interfering with the spatial and functional realm by the public authorities in order to stimulate the sustainable development of the city. In the fi nal part of the article are the general conclusions and conditions formulated essential for proper management of the development of contemporary cities.
