The article discusses the activity of Father Honoriusz Kowalczyk, the academic chaplain of Poznań, whose memory is still alive, even though 40 years have passed since his death. He is considered by many to be a victim of communist repression against the Catholic Church in Poland. That is why he is regarded as a figure who was shrouded in legend during his lifetime, and after his death he became the object of a specific cult.

Artykuł omawia działalność o. Honoriusza Kowalczyka, duszpasterza akademickiego z Poznania, którego pamięć pozostaje wciąż żywa, mimo że od jego śmierci mija 40 lat. Jest on uważany przez wiele osób za ofiarę represji komunistycznych wobec Kościoła katolickiego w Polsce. Uchodzi za postać, która już za życia owiana była legendą, a po śmierci stała się przedmiotem swoistego kultu.
