W XXI wieku interesujący kierunek rozwoju w architekturze to projektowanie generatywne i parametryczne. Dzięki możliwościom, jakie daje komputerowe wspomaganie projektowania, architekci coraz częściej sięgają po zaskakujące w swojej prostocie, lecz dotąd trudne pod względem obliczeniowym algorytmy matematyczne. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie najnowszych trendów w poszukiwaniach inspiracji architektów w projektowaniu obiektów tymczasowych. Nierzadko tematyką przewodnią tych poszukiwań jest poszukiwanie inspiracji w przyrodzie. Analizując przykłady można dostrzec, że istotnym elementem w pracy architektów są niewielkie obiekty pawilonowe, które dają możliwość skupienia uwagi na konkretnych problemach oraz wprowadzaniu pewnych idei projektowych.

Nowadays we have a period of time when most powerful direction in contemporary architecture is generative and parametric designing. Thank to possibilities which give computer-aided desing, architects can reach more often for suprisingly simple free shaped structures which have not been possible jet. Since XXI century mathematic alghoritms have tent to be more architect friendly and can be used to design more biomimic forms. The aim of this article is to present leading-egde trends in finding inspirations in designing temporary buildings. The most common matter of searching is looking for the inspiration in living organisms. All pavilions which were analized had one thing in common, they were small. Thanks to their small sizes pavilions give opportunity to focus on particular designing problems in terms of specific mathematical solutions, while still being buildable architectural objects.
