Ochrona środowiska i ochrona jednostki wiążą się ściśle ze sobą. Owa więź ma wiele aspektów, poddawanych w literaturze coraz szerszej analizie. Autorka stoi na stanowi-sku, że prawo do zdrowego środowiska należy traktować jako jedno z indywidualnych praw człowieka. Zadaniem tego artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na konieczność usank-cjonowania prawa do zdrowego środowiska w Konstytucji RP. W tym celu zostały prze-analizowane postanowienia ustawy zasadniczej, przedstawiono praktykę konstytucyj-ną państw europejskich i praktykę międzynarodową.

Environmental protection and the protection of the individual are closely related. This relationship has many aspects, which are subject to more and more analysis in the literature. The author is of the opinion that the right to a healthy environment should be treat-ed as one of the individual human rights. The purpose of this article is to draw attention to the necessity to sanction the right to a healthy environment in the Polish Constitution. For this purpose, the provisions of the constitution were analyzed, and the constitution-al practice of european countries and international practice were presented.
