Złożoność i niedookreślenie relacji występujących pomiędzy systemem edukacji (w tym na poziomie wyższym) a rynkiem pracy wymusza stałe poszukiwanie nowych rozwiązań o charakterze modernizacyjnym bądź kompensacyjnym. W artykule autorka skupia się na analizie wybranych propozycji, mogących potencjalnie przyczynić się do zmiany zastanych realiów, m.in. wprowadzenie odpłatności za studia, rozbudowanie systemu poradnictwa zawodowego adresowanego do studentów i absolwentów szkół wyższych, poszerzenie autonomii uczelni w zakresie tworzenia kierunków i specjalności, nadanie dodatkowych uprawnień Polskiej Komisji Akredytacyjnej czy stworzenie ogólnopolskiego systemu monitoringu rynku pracy. Swoje rozważania autorka opiera na wynikach badań własnych.

The complex and underdetermined character of relations between the education system (including the higher education) and the labour market necessitates the constant search of new modernizing or compensation solutions. The present article concentrates on the analysis of chosen propositions that might contribute to a change of the current situation by, e.g. introducing tuition fees, expanding the career counselling system aimed at higher school students and graduates, expanding autonomy of universities and colleges in respect of creation of majors and specializations, granting additional powers to the Polish Accreditation Committee (PolKA) or establishing the all-Polish labour market monitoring system. The considerations put forward in the article are based on the author’s own research.
