Wiele osób przekazuje nieużywaną odzież dla potrzebujących. Tekstylia, których się pozbywamy, to także niepotrzebne lub zniszczone dywany, obuwie, pościel czy ręczniki. Nie ma chyba w Polsce miasta, w którym nie znajdowałby się chociaż jeden jasnożółty kontener przeznaczony na ich zbiórkę. Jaka jest dalsza droga odzieży po wrzuceniu jej do pojemnika? Jakie korzyści ekologiczne czy też społeczne wynikają z ich przekazywania do dalszego użytkowania innym odbiorcom? W niniejszym artykule postaramy się przedstawić odpowiedzi na te pytania.

Many people pass on unused clothes for the needy. Textiles, which we also get rid of are superfluous or damaged carpets, shoes, bed linen or towels. There is probably no city in Poland without at least one bright yellow container intended for their collection. What happens to the clothes after they are thrown into the container? What are the environmental or social benefits resulting from their forwarding for further use to other recipients? In this article we will try to provide answers to these questions.
