Perspektywa historyczna w badaniach organizacji i zarządzania. Zagadnienie strategii badawczych

W artykule, bazując na najnowszej literaturze przedmiotu, przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia metodologiczne badań wykorzystujących perspektywę historyczną w analizach organizacji i zarządzania. Zwrócono uwagę na dylematy związane z połączeniem różnych podejść teoretycznych w organizacji i zarządzaniu oraz sposobów rozumienia, czym jest historia i podstawowych zasad metodologii badań historycznych. Analiza wybranych trzech publikacji opartych na badaniach empirycznych ilustruje tezę o różnorodności prowadzonych badań w tym obszarze, jak również o akceptacji podstawowych założeń dotyczących tak natury badanych zjawisk, wykorzystanych źródeł, jak i metod ich interpretacji.

The article, based on the latest literature on the subject, presents selected methodological issues which arise in research following the historical perspective in organizational and management studies. Attention was paid to dilemmas related to the combination of various theoretical approaches in organization and management, as well as the ways of understanding what history is and the crucial methodological principles of historical sciences. The three selected publications based on empirical research – referred in the article – illustrate the thesis on the diversity of research conducted in this area. Their analysis also confirms basic assumptions regarding the nature of the studied phenomena, the used sources, and the methods of their interpretation.

The paper presents assumptions, goals and procedures of the urban revitalization programme in the city of Poznań. Particular attention was focused on social and economic problems occurring in crisis areas that are covered by revitalization schemes.

As a result of communalization of state property, local self-governments received significant areas of forests related territorially to the areas of cities and communes. The lack of, apart from a few exceptions, specialized organizational units to manage these areas causes a number of organizational problems. This article presents the problem of regulations the legal status of state forests by means of statutory solutions de lege ferenda.
