This paper attempts to analyze how an employee’s actual dress code influences the image of the local government. Further, it has been indicated how a local government official should dress for work; what accessories should be avoided. Regulations possible to be implemented by an employer for obliging the employees to abide by the dress code typical for daily work have been presented.

W niniejszym opracowaniu podjęta została próba przeanalizowania jak ubiór urzędnika wpływa na wizerunek instytucji samorządowej. W dalszej części artykułu wskazano jak urzędnik samorządowy powinien ubierać się do pracy, jakie stosować dodatki, czego powinien się wystrzegać. Przedstawiono, jakie regulacje pracodawca może wprowadzić chcąc wymóc na pracownikach obowiązek stosowania stroju noszonego w codziennej pracy.

The process of an exhibition being created in a space difficult to arrange, i.e. within the former Pszczyna Castle Stable, is discussed. In its concept, the display bonded the collection of the Castle Museum in Pszczyna in a dialogue with the study collection of the Fashion Museum. The Author analyses the manner in which the use of Erwin Panofsky’s iconology allowed to create a cohesive narrative composed of 25 minor stories of clothing, fashion, their mutual relation, and reference to the surrounding objects. This, in turn, leads to the deliberation on clothing itself and its aspects that can be investigated through different research means, in some cases concentrating on its material properties, in others, on the cultural ones. Therefore, the conclusions reached are of a general character, allowing to be used in a preparation of similar exhibitions also in other spaces.

The article presents an overview of everyday lives of Medieval pilgrims traveling alongthe Francigena Way. It explains the meaning of their equipment, describes different typesof lodging, treats about food, and deals with the dangers or threats awaiting the pilgrimson route. The article refers to literary works and documents on pilgrimages and figurativerepresentation of pilgrims in art.

Tłumaczy znaczenie ich ekwipunku, opisuje różne rodzajenoclegów, mówi o odżywianiu, niebezpieczeństwach czyhających na pielgrzymów w trakciedrogi. Artykuł sięga do fragmentów dzieł literackich i dokumentów na temat pielgrzymowaniaoraz przedstawień figuralnych pielgrzymów w sztuce.
