Analysis of the functioning of the agri-environmental program in Poland demonstrated its significant role in protecting the environment, including meadows and pastures. But this is not a perfect system, as demonstrated by the example of the third package its use within certain habitats (eg molinia meadows, mat-grass grasslands) may be harmful. The reason for the significant differences are the requirements of the third package with the needs of some plant communities. In addition, the third package is easier to implement, thus effectively competes with packages 4 and 5 at the same time protect the wildlife service does not currently have influence on the choices made by farmers. This also increases the responsibility of agri-environmental advisors engaged in plans for farmers.

Analiza funkcjonowania programu rolnośrodowiskowego w Polsce dowodzi jego znaczącej roli w ochronie środowiska, w tym łąk i pastwisk. Nie jest to jednak system doskonały, co wykazano na przykładzie pakietu 3. Jego zastosowanie w obrębie niektórych siedlisk (np. łąki trzęślicowe i murawy bliźniczkowe) może być szkodliwe. Powodem są znaczne rozbieżności wymagań określonych w pakiecie 3. z potrzebami niektórych zbiorowisk roślinnych. Ponadto pakiet 3. jest łatwiejszy w realizacji, skutecznie konkuruje więc z pakietami 4 i 5. Jednocześnie służby ochrony przyrody nie mają obecnie wpływu na wybory podejmowane przez rolników. Powoduje to także wzrost odpowiedzialności doradców rolnośrodowiskowych wykonujących plany dla rolników.
