Th e purpose of the article is to show comparatistics as a promising perspective of current humanistic research, especially in area of extending possibilities of analysis and interpretation. In times of profesionalization and specialization of knowledge, comparative research are rarely undertaken and for that reason, it makes a cognitively and interpretatively interesting situation. Th e case analysis applies to using comparative method on the ground of history of historiography (A. Kożuchowski) and literary studies (D. Zawadzka).

Artykuł poświęcony tej części lirycznej twórczości Bronisławy Ostrowskiej, w której ujawnia się paralelność opisu gwiazd i kwiatów, wskazująca na powinowactwo tych bytów. W przyglądaniu się zależności między partiami ziemskimi a domeną niebiańską zastosowano założenia metodologiczne sakrologii (badania sacrum) i katoptrologii (problem odbić lustrzanego).

The article is devoted to this part of the lyrical work of Bronislawa Ostrowska’s, in which the parallelity of the description of stars and flowers is revealed, indicating the affinity of these entities. In studying the similarities in the land and celestial domains constructed by the poet, the methodological assumptions of sacrology (research on the sacrum) and catoptrology (the problem of mirror reflections) were used.
