Artykuł prezentuje sylwetkę księdza Antoniego Orchowskiego (1872−1923), administratora i proboszcza parafii w Kwiatkowicach (1904−1906), Męce (1907−1913), Brudzewie Kolskim (1913−1920) i Szadku (1920−1923). Gorliwy kaznodzieja, duszpasterz, dziekan szadkowski, patriota, publicysta i poeta. Udzielał się na niwie społecznej u progu niepodległości Polski. Kapłan otwartego serca na potrzeby parafian, pełen pokory, wyśmienitego intelektu, którego imię w każdym czasie winno być z czcią wspominane.

Father Antoni Orchowski (1872–1923) was administrator and parish priest in Kwiatkowice (1904–1906), Męka (1907–1913), Brudzew Kolski (1913–1920) and Szadek (1920–1923). He was a zealous preacher, Dean of Szadek, patriot, publisher and poet. He also was very active in social work on the eve of Poland’s independence. A very humble person of great intellect, with a heart was open to the needs of the parishioners, whose name should always be recalled with reverence.
