The article presents a recommendation to enrich the education of teachers and trainers with a hybrid approach to teaching using an immersive virtual environment (virtual reality, VR), which is a complementary solution for traditional training and e-learning courses. The pros and cons of using virtual reality headsets are discussed here for teacher education and the trainer training process. The article presents the results of the project called: „Collaborative Virtual Reality platform for e-learning: Teaching Communication” (COViR).

W artykule przedstawiono rekomendację wzbogacenia kształcenia nauczycieli i trenerów o hybrydowe podejście do nauczania z wykorzystaniem immersyjnego środowiska wirtualnego (rzeczywistość wirtualna, VR), stanowiącego uzupełniające rozwiązanie dla szkoleń tradycyjnych i kursów e-learningowych. Omówione są tu zalety i wady stosowania zestawów rzeczywistości wirtualnej (ang. VR headsets) na potrzeby edukacji nauczycieli i procesu szkolenia trenerów. W artykule przedstawiono rezultaty projektu „Platforma wspólnej rzeczywistości wirtualnej do nabywania umiejętności komunikacyjnych w systemie e-learning” (COViR).
