W artykule podjęto próbę analizy zasobów wpływających na zdrowie człowieka w sytuacji doświadczania choroby przewlekłej. Zostały przedstawione wybrane definicje pojęcia zasobów, kategorie ich podziału oraz ukazano znaczenie wybranych zasobów dla funkcjonowania człowieka w chorobie. Kluczową kwestią wydaje się to, jakie zasoby są konieczne do tego, aby dana osoba miała poczucie jak najlepszego przystosowania się do życia z chorobą.

This article will attempt to analyze the resources affecting the individual’s health in a situation of chronic illness. The definitions of the resources, the categories of their distribution, and the importance of selected resources for human functioning in illness will be presented. The key issue seems to be which resources are needed for the individual to feel well adapted to life with the disease.
