Praktykowanie oporu. O „rewolucyjnej” poezji Julii Fiedorczuk

The author of the article, analysing the works of Julia Fiedorczuk, described a poetic strategy that can be called “the poetics of resistance”. Its essential determinants emphasise the fragility of human and non-human beings, emphasising the connections between all beings and the tightness of boundaries to regulate any systems (organic and political). Fiedorczuk proves that it is possible to include poetry in a network of activities aimed at opposing violence and suffering caused by terrorism or warfare in times of political crises and wars. According to the article’s author, it is necessary to recognise the revolutionary potential of Fiedorczuk’s poetry. It allows for the recognition of poetry as an effective way of counteracting what is undesirable due to the affective potential of poems and creating situations that the reader may experience. Poetry is, therefore, an exercise of mindfulness and the practice of resistance to phenomena that have consequences for individuals and society. Care is perhaps the most important feeling that causes Fiedorczuk to constantly change his idiom and give special meaning to the community. Writing about her poetry, the author uses Judith Butler’s theory of vulnerability to injury and concepts from nonviolent civil resistance studies.

Autor artykułu, analizując twórczość Julii Fiedorczuk, opisał strategię poetycką, którą można nazwać „poetyką oporu”. Jej podstawowymi wyznacznikami są akcentowanie kruchości istot ludzkich i nie-ludzkich, podkreślanie powiązań między wszystkimi istotami oraz nieszczelność granic mających regulować jakiekolwiek układy (organiczne i polityczne). Fiedorczuk udowadnia, że w czasie kryzysów politycznych i wojen możliwe jest włączenie poezji w sieć działań mających na celu sprzeciwianie się przemocy i cierpieniu spowodowanemu terroryzmem lub działaniami wojennymi. Według autora artykułu konieczne jest dostrzeżenie potencjału rewolucyjnego poezji Fiedorczuk. Pozwala on na uznanie poezji za skuteczny sposób przeciwdziałania temu, co niepożądane ze względu na potencjał afektywny wierszy i kreowanie sytuacji mogących być udziałem czytelnika. Poezja jest więc nie tylko ćwiczeniem uważności, lecz również praktykowaniem oporu wobec zjawisk mających konsekwencje dla poszczególnych jednostek i społeczeństwa. Być może to właśnie troska jest najważniejszym uczuciem, które powoduje, że Fiedorczuk wciąż zmienia swój idiom i nadaje szczególne znaczenie wspólnocie. Pisząc o jej poezji, autor wykorzystuje teorię podatności na zranienie Judith Butler i koncepcje z obszaru nonviolent civil resistance studies.
