This article presents the most important changes within the rules of the electoral law to the Polish Parliament since the 2nd Republic of Poland, throughout the People’s Republic of Poland up to the 3rd Republic of Poland. At the same time, the period of the 3rd Republic of Poland, thanks to its topicality it was given the widest coverage. It has to be emphasised that during the 3rd Republic of Poland the electoral law to the Senate, unlike the electoral laws to the Seym, has not undergone any changes. Before the electoral law regulating the elections within the interwar period were described, the regulations referring to the rules of choosing the representatives to the Parliament existing during the partitions (so after 1795) were briefly mentioned within the introduction.

Podstawy prawne dotyczące przeprowadzania wyborów do organów przedstawicielskich państwa określa konstytucja. Jednak ustawa zasadnicza reguluje tylko najważniejsze kwestie, natomiast ich rozwinięcie znajduje się w ustawach noszących nazwę ordynacji wyborczych. W niniejszym artykule omówiono najważniejsze zmiany w przepisach ordynacji wyborczych do polskiego parlamentu od okresu II Rzeczypospolitej, przez dobę Polski Ludowej, do czasu III Rzeczypospolitej.

This article analyses the political concepts of the contemporary Polish national camp, represented by the League of Polish Families (2001–2011) and the National Movement (since 2012). Both parties strived to create a national state in which the Polish nation would have a dominant position and pursue its own interests. According to the leaders of both parties, only a nation-state can pursue a policy of comprehensive internal social, economic and military development, making Poland an important player in international politics and ensuring the security and prosperity of its citizens.

Artykuł stanowi analizę koncepcji ustrojowych współczesnego polskiego obozu narodowego, reprezentowanego przez Ligę Polskich Rodzin (2001–2011) oraz Ruch Narodowy (od 2012). Obie partie dążyły do stworzenia państwa narodowego, w którym naród polski miałby dominującą pozycję i realizował własne interesy. Zdaniem przywódców obu partii tylko państwo narodowe może realizować politykę wszechstronnego rozwoju wewnętrznego – społecznego, ekonomicznego i militarnego, czyniąc z Polski ważny podmiot polityki międzynarodowej oraz zapewniając jej mieszkańcom bezpieczeństwo i dobrobyt.
