Coraz więcej rodzin i wychowujących się w nich dzieci jest zagrożonych wykluczeniem utrudniającym im rozwój i pełną partycypację w życiu społecznym. Jedną ze skutecznych form przeciwdziałania przyczynom i skutkom wykluczenia jest szeroka działalność placówek wsparcia dziennego. Ich formy pracy, cele oraz zadania zostały przedstawione w oparciu o autorski model głównych obszarów działań sprzyjających inkluzji społecznej, skierowanych na jednostki, ich rodziny, osoby i instytucje pracujące z dzieckiem i rodziną oraz ogół społeczeństwa, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem społeczności lokalnej. Postulowane są również działania w obszarze ustawodawstwa, edukacji, mediów oraz oferty kulturalno-rekreacyjnej.

More and more families and children brought up in the titular centres are at risk of exclusion, which makes it difficult for them to develop and fully participate in social life. An effective form of preventing the reasons and effects of exclusion is active work of daily care and support centres. Forms of work, aims and tasks of those centres are presented on the basis of an original model of the main areas of activity which support social inclusion addressed to particular people, their families, persons and institutions cooperating with the child, his or her family and general, especially local, society. The article, moreover, proposes actions in the area of legislation, education, media as well as presents suggestions regarding cultural and recreational offer.

Główną część tekstu stanowią refleksje na temat istoty systemowej terapii rodzin oraz jej użyteczności.

The article shows systematic therapy as a possible and effective family helping form. There are described: family as a system and the importance of the family system to life quality of its members. The main part of the article is about the essence of systematic family therapy and utility of this form of therapy.

Artykuł w swej treści obejmuje problematykę asystenta rodziny, od strony charakteru jego pracy, przedstawienia najważniejszych celów i zadań oraz obowiązków i wyzwań zawodowych. Asystent rodziny jest bowiem zawodem nowym, funkcjonującym w systemie pomocy społecznej, ukierunkowanym na profesjonalizm i zarazem wielostronność działania na rzecz rodzin przeżywających trudności życiowe. Na wstępie pracy zaznaczono społeczny aspekt zawodu, zaś w części zasadniczej scharakteryzowano profesję asystenta rodziny od strony celów, zadań i rodzaju realizowanych obowiązków zawodowych oraz najczęściej przyjętych sposobów działania. Ukazano również dylematy związane z wykonywaniem zawodu asystenta rodziny oraz jego perspektywy na przyszłość. W badaniach zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego, stosując jako narzędzie badawcze kwestionariusz ankiety. Badaniami objęto czterdzieści osób będących klientami pomocy społecznej oraz 60 asystentów rodziny i pracowników socjalnych. Przedstawiono również szczegółowe wnioski wypływające z tych badań, dotyczące istoty i postrzegania pracy asystenta rodziny przez ludzi korzystających z jego pomocy oraz przez samych asystentów rodziny / pracowników socjalnych. Całość kończy podsumowanie, podkreślające znaczenie zawodu zarówno w realiach współczesnego życia, jak i w kontekście prowadzonej przez państwo polityki prorodzinnej.

The article covers the issues of the family assistant, concentrates on the nature of his work, presents the most important goals and tasks as well as professional duties and challenges. The family assistant is a new profession, functioning in the social welfare system, aimed at professionalism and at the same time multilateral action for families experiencing life difficulties. At the beginning of the work, the social aspect of the profession was marked, while in the main part the profession of the family assistant was characterized while concentrating on the objectives, tasks and type of professional duties performed, as well as the most commonly adopted methods of action. Also, the dilemmas related to the profession of family assistant and its prospects for the future were taken into consideration. The research used the method of a diagnostic survey, using a questionnaire as a research tool. It covered 40 people who are social welfare clients and 60 family and social worker assistants. Therefore, the article presents the specific conclusions of these studies regarding the nature and perception of the work of a family assistant by the families he helps and by the family assistants / social workers themselves. The work as a whole ends with a summary emphasizing the importance of the profession both in the realities of modern life and in the context of the state-oriented pro-family policy.

System pomocy i wsparcia rodzin z dziećmi kieruje swoje działania do znacznej liczby obywateli w Polsce. Dotychczasowy model pomocowy wydaje się nieefektywny i nie prowadzi do osiągnięcia głównego celu jakim jest odzyskanie przez rodziny samodzielności życiowej. Dlatego istotne jest poszukiwanie nowych rozwiązań. Jedną z propozycji, zarówno badawczą jak i praktyczną, jest implementacja nowych perspektyw, np. familiocentrycznej. W literaturze polskiej jest to raczej nieznane podejście. Akcentuje ono konieczność postawienia rodziny w centrum działań, a także pozwala na określenie jakości relacji pomiędzy instytucją a rodziną. W artykule zaprezentowane zostały różne ujęcia paradygmatu familiocentrycznego, które mogą służyć zarówno jako paradygmat badawczy jak i schemat pozwalający na praktyczną optymalizację działań i systemu pomocowego.

Though the family welfare services direct their efforts to a significant number of Polish children and parents in need, their current programs seem to bring very little success; therefore a new model of the family support needs to be introduced. Among many there is one – the familycentered paradigm, little known in Poland thus far, yet providing both practical and scientific platform for researchers, and for wider spectrum of implementation. The main goal of social support aimed toward families is to reestablish well understood autonomy of the family as an entity and all its members. The family centered practice concentrates all the efforts on family and clearly defines family – welfare agency relations. This article demonstrates the familycentered paradigm both as a basis for farther research, and as an instrument for optimization of family welfare institutions’ practical efforts.

Pope Francis from the beginning, showed fatherly care of marriage and family, especially those lost and wounded by different human failures and tragedies: infidelity, divorce and conflict. The first synods of his pontificate was dedicated to pastoral dimension of care for marriage and family. A similar character has exhortation Amoris laetitia. Pope calls to proclaim the Gospel of the family, that is a full and integral truth about marriage and family present in God's plan of human salvation. He calls for giving alive and joyful testimony of Christ's presence in the sacrament of marriage and family home, which is a small Church. In his pastoral recommendations he stresses the need to assist fiance and bride in preparation for their wedding, to accompany a newly married couple in the first years of marriage, to help in solving problems and reconciliation, which is the basis of a mature marriage. This exhortation manifests care for the divorced and remarried. The Church can not change its standards, nor can it give up its values and ideals. In this way, the Bishop of Rome begins a new era in the Church. This is the era of compassionate gaze and allegiance to Christ.

Papież Franciszek od początku swego pontyfikatu pokazał ojcowską opieką małżeństwa i rodziny, zwłaszcza te zagubione i zranione przez zjawiska różnych niepowodzeń i ludzkich tragedii, takich jak: zdrada, rozwód i konfliktów. Pierwsze synody pontyfikatu był poświęcony wymiarowi duszpasterskiej troski o małżeństwie i rodzinie. Podobny charakter ma Adhortacja Amoris Laetitia.
