The climate of a class results from the teacher-students relationships, the relationships among students and also different features of the educational process. However, it might be assumed, with great probability, that mainly the teacher is the crucial determiner influencing the unique atmosphere of each class. It is the teacher, who creating the positive climate of the class, gives the students proper conditions for comprehensive psychosocial development. The aim of this article is to present chosen factors having influence on the climate of the class, resulting from the teacher’s attitudes and behaviour, and also some methods of building the positive atmosphere in the classroom. atmosphere in the classroom

Klimat klasy jest wypadkową m.in. relacji między nauczycielem a uczniami, relacji między uczniami nawzajem, różnych właściwości procesu edukacyjnego. Można jednak z dużym prawdopodobieństwem przypuszczać, że decydującą determinantą wpływającą na tę unikalną dla każdej klasy atmosferę jest nauczyciel. To nauczyciel, kreując pozytywny klimat klasy, tworzy uczniom warunki do wszechstronnego rozwoju psychospołecznego. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wybranych czynników mających wpływ na klimat klasy, zależnych od postaw i zachowań nauczyciela, a także wybranych sposobów na budowanie pozytywnej atmosfery w klasie szkolnej.
