In this paper, stressing the importance of positive acts evaluating a partner in communication process, the authors tried to identify the guidelines for its formulation. Acts of this kind are deprived of humiliation which fosters interpersonal relationships The authors begin their considerations showing the importance of social skills and the role of correct formulation of messages. Based on the analysis of the literature on the subject, as well as using practical examples, the authors reviewed the fundamental errors in the design of communication during the exchange of messages. They identified two basic (vertical and horizontal) types and gave their examples. These errors can lead to diminish the participation of communication process (in particular this of depreciation acts). The appearance of those errors (by diminishing the interlocutor) may result in the inhibition of not only the communication process, but the worsening of the relationship. Considering the structure of communication the authors proposed the construction of formulating the message that favored interpersonal relationships understanding and supporting.
