Wiele dyskusji poświęca się współcześnie problemowi uwarunkowań innowacyjności organizacji i jednostek. Uwaga badaczy skupia się jednak głównie na organizacjach biznesowych. Dlatego też przedmiotem zainteresowania w niniejszym artykule uczyniono instytucje oświatowe. Celem artykułu – w jego warstwie teoriopoznawczej – jest analiza działań personalnych, podejmowanych w szkołach w kontekście kształtowania potencjału innowacyjności nauczycieli. Celem metodycznym stało się opracowanie narzędzia diagnozowania praktyk stosowanych w analizowanym obszarze. Wreszcie cel utylitarny obejmuje dostarczenie wskazówek dla dyrektorów szkół oraz autorów programów szkoleń i studiów z zarządzania placówkami oświatowymi.

Much discussion is currently being devoted to questions of innovation determinants in organizations and other entities. However, the attention of researchers is mainly concentrated on business organizations. It is for this reason that the subject of interest of this paper is the educational institution. Its goal in its epistemological layer is an analysis of personnel efforts as undertaken in schools in the context of shaping the innovative potential of teachers. The methodical objective is the development of diagnostic tools as applied in the analyzed area. Ultimately, the utilitarian aim encompasses the delivery of guidelines for school principals and the authors of educational programs as well as studies in the management of educational institutions.
