The article presents a number of indications and rules concerning the effective writing of a graduate thesis. They refer to three stages of creating a graduate thesis: the preparation stage, the research implementation stage and the compilation stage. Each of these stages concerns a different type of action. This article gives a detailed indication of what to do in the course of each of these stages of creating a graduate theses.

Artykuł przedstawia wskazania i zasady dotyczące skutecznego pisania pracy promocyjnej. Odnoszą się one do trzech etapów tworzenia pracy promocyjnej: etapu przygotowania, etapu realizacji badań i etapu redakcji tekstu. Każdy z tych etapów dotyczy innego rodzaju działań. Niniejszy artykuł daje szczegółowe wskazania, jak należy postępować w toku realizowania każdego z tych etapów tworzenia pracy promocyjnej.

The methodology of scientifi c work is a crucial matter for the proper development of scientific research. The milieu of pastoral theologians has long been engaged in a discussion on the research method suitable to this theological discipline regarding both scholarly research and the preparation of diploma theses. After many years of quest, Rev. Prof. Ryszard Kamiński’s publication is a welcome aid for the beginning as well as advanced theologians.

Metodologia pracy naukowej jest zagadnieniem bardzo istotnym dla właściwego rozwoju badań naukowych. W środowiskach pastoralistów od długiego już czasu prowadzona była dyskusja nad metodami badawczymi właściwymi dla tej dyscypliny teologicznej. Dotyczy to zarówno badań naukowych, jak i przygotowania prac promocyjnych (dyplomowych). Publikacja ks. prof. Ryszarda Kamińskiego jest oczekiwaną od wielu lat pomocą zarówno dla początkujących, jak i zaawansowanych teologów.
