Rozważania zawarte w niniejszym artykule dotyczą wpływu prawa Unii Europejskiej na prawo żywnościowe oraz wynikających z tego korzyści i zagrożeń. Przedstawiono w nim także niektóre prawne regulacje niezbędne do zrozumienia zagadnień związanych z żywnością genetycznie zmodyfikowaną.

The article refers to the issues connected with the impact of EU law on food law and the resulting possible benefits and threats. Furthermore, some legal regulations necessary to understand issues connected with genetically modified food were presented.
