The system and practices of both German censorship in Norway in 1940–1945 and of Soviet censorship in Estonia in 1944–1990 were, because of their totalitarian nature, very similar. Some aspects of the reorganisation of the press in Norway and Estonia after the shift to freedom of expression are compared. In both countries freedom of the press released a high level of activity in publishing, attracting a lot of new and untrained journalists to the field. This created a generational shift , if not a cleavage, between old hands and neophytes. Since the younger generation was more numerous, the transition also implied tensions and ambiguities between different ideas of profes- sional practices and values. When media began to consolidate in both countries, the job market be- came more competitive and journalists found themselves under commercial pressures and, somewhat paradoxically, in the same process became more professionalized. In Norway the old multi-party press re-emerged after a short while together with old routines from the mid-war period. In Estonia, the old Soviet press system was replaced with completely different one, based on private ownership and ruled by the free market.

„Przegląd Rzeszowski” z 1927 i 1932 r. to żydowskie pisma w języku polskim, wychodzące w Rzeszowie. „Przegląd Rzeszowski” z 1927 r. był dwutygodnikiem, a „Przegląd Rzeszowski” z 1932 r. tygodnikiem. W 1927 r. funkcję redaktorów pełnili C.L. Platzer i M.M. Fröchlich. Redaktorem naczelnym „Przeglądu Rzeszowskiego” z 1932 r. był Samuel Lubasz. W obu czasopismach omawiano zagadnienia ekonomiczne, socjalne i polityczne dotyczące Żydów. Informowano o wydarzeniach w mieście i regionie. Popularyzowano żydowskie życie kulturalne i sportowe. Ogłaszano reklamy.

"Przegląd Rzeszowski” was a title of two different jewish periodicals published in Polish and issued in Rzeszów. The first „Przegląd Rzeszowski” was a biweekly, published in 1927, and its editors were C.L. Plattzer and M.M. Fröchlich. The second „Przegląd Rzeszowski”, from 1932 was a weekly – its editor-in-chief was Samuel Lubasz. Both periodicals dealt with economical, social and political issues concerning Jews, provided information about events in the town and its region and promoted Jewish cultural and sport life. The also featured advertisements.

The article presents prof. Hanna Tadeusiewicz’s scientific profile – a press historian, an eminent expert on the 19th-century printing periodicals, and a bibliologist-bibliographer associated with the University of Lodz. The presentation of H. Tadeusiewicz’s scientific achievements comprises works on press studies, literature studies, and biographical studies published between the years 1966–2020. The material was collected based on the existing subject-object bibliography and presents the results of biographical and press analyses. H. Tadeusiewicz’s academic achievements include 180 monographs and contributory works, of which over 40 deal with the history of press and printing (also concerning “Przegląd Drukarski”, “Budzik”, “Praca”, “Czcionka”, “Grafika”, and “Poradnik Graficzny”). This publication summarises the scientific achievements of H. Tadeusiewicz in the field of press studies and presents the author’s contribution to the Polish press studies.

Artykuł prezentuje sylwetkę naukową prof. Hanny Tadeusiewicz – historyka prasy, wybitnego znawcy periodyków drukarskich XIX wieku oraz bibliologa-bibliografa związanego z Uniwersytetem Łódzkim. Prezentacja osiągnięć naukowych H. Tadeusiewicz obejmuje prace prasoznawcze, literaturoznawcze i biograficzne wydane w latach 1966–2020. Materiał zebrany został w oparciu o istniejącą bibliografię przedmiotowo-podmiotową i prezentuje wyniki analizy biograficznej i prasoznawczej. Na dorobek badawczy H. Tadeusiewicz składa się 180 prac monograficznych i przyczynkarskich, z czego ponad 40 to opracowania z zakresu historii prasy i drukarstwa, w tym dotyczące „Przeglądu Drukarskiego” „Budzika”, „Pracy”, „Czcionki”, „Grafiki” oraz „Poradnika Graficznego”. Niniejsza publikacja stanowi podsumowanie dokonań naukowych H. Tadeusiewicz w obszarze prasoznawstwa i prezentuje wkład autorki w badania polskiej prasy.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja czasopism, które omawiały zagadnienia dotyczące uprawy, sadownictwa, ogrodnictwa i hodowli w Sandomierzu. Ramy czasowe obejmują prasę ukazującą się w latach 1829–2022. Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej wyszczególniono tytuły pism ukazujących się w Sandomierzu w latach 1829–1939, w których podejmowano tematykę dotyczącą rolnictwa lub hodowli. Druga część prezentuje czasopisma poruszające tę tematykę, wychodzące w Sandomierzu w latach 1945–2022. Autorka wskazała, że problematyka związana z szeroko rozumianym rolnictwem w Sandomierzu i regionie była nie tylko przedmiotem refleksji w lokalnej prasie ukazującej się po transformacji ustrojowej, ale stała się tematem naukowej i popularnonaukowej myśli.

The purpose of the article is to present the periodicals that discussed issues of cultivation, fruit farming, horticulture and animal breeding in Sandomierz. The time frame covers newspapers published between 1829–2022. The article consists of two parts. The first provides the titles of periodicals published in Sandomierz between 1829–1939, which addressed topics related to agriculture or livestock farming. The second part presents periodicals covering this subject matter that were printed in Sandomierz from 1945–2022. The author indicates that issues related to agriculture in Sandomierz and in the region were not only reflected in the local press published after the political transformation, but became the subject of scholarly and popular-scientific reflection.
