On the basis of the synthesis of contextual learning principles and competence approach the whole set of technological operations was proposed which provides formation of future teacher’s legal competence in the university educational process. The integral process of the technology of formation of future teacher’s legal competence is represented as a succession of preparatory-propaedeutic, content-activity and reflexive-activity stages. The aim of the preparatory-propaedeutic stage was to prepare the scientific-methodical ground for realization of legal education. On this stage it was solved the task of actualization for students of the aim of legal preparation, development of positive motivation of students as to gaining legal competence as professional and personal quality, development of educational-methodological tools of providing of process of legal competence formation. The main aim of the content-activity stage was formation of professional-legal knowledge, skills and professional-legal activity. The development of professional and personal qualities which are necessary for successful realization of the professional-legal activity was provided by means of complement of psychological-pedagogical content and legal discipline with questions of professional-pedagogical character, by attraction of students to different forms of educational and civil of professional-legal direction, by introduction of developed special course, as generalized element of a system of theoretical and practical legal training of a future teacher. Realization of the aim of the reflexive-activity stage required formation of readiness and capacity of future teacher to the application of legal knowledge in the professional activity, skills to accomplish self-organization, self-control and self-regulation in the professional-legal sphere. This stage also has effective-coordinational function where levels of formation of student’s legal competence are estimated.
