Autor przygląda się profilowi korzystania z komputera przez młodzież. Podstawą rozważań są przede wszystkim wyniki badań prowadzonych przez NASK w 2016 r. oraz badania własne prowadzone na przełomie 2017 i 2018 r. Jednocześnie autor zwraca uwagę na fakt, iż sama umiejętność korzystania z nowych technologii przez młodzież nie świadczy jeszcze o ich kompetencjach w tym zakresie, oraz podkreśla konieczność wprowadzenia na szerszą skalę programów profilaktycznych z zakresu edukacji medialnej, które swoim zasięgiem obejmą nie tylko młodzież, ale też nauczycieli, wychowawców i rodziców.

The author examines a profile of computer use by young people. The basis for consideration consists primarily of the results of research conducted by NASK in 2016 and own research conducted between the years 2017 and 2018. At the same time, the author focuses on the fact that the ability to use new technologies by young people does not necessarily indicate their competence in this area and emphasizes the need for wider introduction of prevention programmes in the field of media education, which will encompass not only young people but also teachers, educators and parents.
