U źródeł polskiej wczesnodziecięcej edukacji – proces kształtowania się „żłobka” do 1989 roku (próba syntezy)

The aim of the study is to attempt to present a synthesis of the process of shaping the system of early education and care for children up to the age of three in the Polish lands throughout history (until the political transformation in 1989). The author briefly presents the concept of education and care in the home environment, indicates the problem of taking care of children by nurses and nannies, analyzes the organization and the functioning of first shelters, nurseries and aid campaigns directed at a mother and child. The study also focuses on philanthropic activities in the process of protecting the life and health of children, as well as the importance of RGO and RTPD in the process of childcare. The last fragment presents the situation of a working woman and a child up to three years old in the Polish People's Republic.

Celem opracowania jest próba ukazania syntezy procesu kształtowania się systemu wczesnej edukacji i opieki nad dzieckiem w wieku do trzeciego roku życia na ziemiach polskich na przestrzeni dziejów (do okresu transformacji ustrojowej w 1989 r.). Autorka przedstawia w skrócie koncepcję edukacji i opieki w środowisku domowym, sygnalizuje problem podejmowania opieki nad dziećmi przez mamki, nianie, dokonuje analizy sposobu organizacji, funkcjonowania pierwszych ochron, żłobków oraz akcji pomocowych kierowanych w stronę matki i dziecka. W opracowaniu poświęcono także uwagę działalności filantropijnej w procesie ochrony życia i zdrowia dziecka, a także znaczeniu RGO oraz RTPD w procesie sprawowania opieki nad dziećmi. Ostatni fragment przedstawia sytuację pracującej kobiety i dziecka do lat trzech w okresie Polski Ludowej.
