The article addresses the questions connected with the preparation to the sejm, which included: the preparation of the sejm expedition by the chancery, the convocation of the pre-sejm sejmiks in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (also in Livonia), their course and the results of voting including the so called sejm evictions (Polish: rugi sejmowe). The articles focuses on the struggle between political parties before the general election in Lithuania. The pre-sejm campaign of 1699 was to be held in difficult political conditions – after the armistice concluded at the end of 1698 in Lithuania in the civil war between the Sapiehas and republicans. The fight prior to the sejm arose fears that the situation should aggravate again, which eventually did not happen despite the fact that a few sejmiks had been broken up. The reasons for the break-ups included local conflicts concerning county positions (the Hrodna, Ashmyany, Mazyr sejmiks) and central positions (the Vilnius and Smolensk sejmiks). As far as other controversial issues were concerned in the conflict between the Sapiehas and the republicans, they were neither raised nor expressed sharply. It should be noted that in a few places, especially in Brest, the cooperation between factions occurred which resulted in compromises when representatives of various parties were elected envoys. The cause of this was the fact of leading out the Saxons, lack of reasons to attack the Sapiehas and the interest in distributing vacant seats in the seym to main representatives of various royal political parties. Formally, republicans won in Lithuania, but their positions was weakened as the nobility (szlachta) was dissatisfied with their cooperation with the court with respect to the locating of the Saxon army.

An overview of local works on the history of religious culture of early modern Peremyšl is given. Special works on the study of eastern monasticism in the town have been singled out. An overview of documentary collections for the study of the history of the monastery farm is presented. The basic historical information about the monastic center of the eastern rite at the cathedral of the Nativity of John the Baptist in Peremyšl is given. It has been established that the foundation documentation of this monastery has not been preserved to this day. Instead, the acts of the Peremyšl town court were found and put into scientific circulation: introduction into possession, lease contract, inventory description, manifestation. The ways of acquiring the monastery property are outlined and the material support of the monastery is determined. Biographies of secular donors and basilian monks who worked at the cathedral were reconstructed. The circumstances of the litigation over the monastic property caused by the transfer of the jurisdiction of the basilian monks from the eparchial to the proto-abbot’s subordination have been clarified. A description of the monastery farm is presented. The conditions for transferring the farm to lease are determined. A selection of documents for the study of the history of the farm of Dobromil monastery is offered.

Przedstawiono przegląd miejscowych opracowań z zakresu historii kultury religijnej wczesnego nowożytnego Przemyśla. Wyodrębniono specjalne prace dotyczące studiów nad wschodnim monastycyzmem w mieście. Przedstawiono przegląd zbiorów dokumentalnych do badania historii gospodarki klasztornej. Podano podstawowe informacje historyczne o ośrodku klasztornym obrządku wschodniego przy Katedrze Narodzenia Jana Chrzciciela w Przemyślu. Ustalono, że dokumentacja fundacyjna tego klasztoru nie zachowała się do dnia dzisiejszego. Zamiast tego odnaleziono i wprowadzono do obiegu naukowego akty Sądu Grodzkiego w Przemyślu: wprowadzenie w posiadanie, umowa najmu, opis inwentarzowy, manifestacja. Przedstawiono sposoby nabycia dóbr klasztornych oraz określono wsparcie materialne klasztoru. Zrekonstruowano biografie świeckich darczyńców i bazylianów pracujących w katedrze. Sprecyzowano okoliczności sporu o majątek klasztorny, spowodowanego przeniesieniem jurysdykcji mnichów bazylianów z eparchialu na podporządkowanie protohegumena. Przedstawiono opis folwarku klasztornego. Określono warunki przekazania gospodarstwa w dzierżawę. Przedstawiono wybór dokumentów do studiowania historii gospodarstwa klasztoru Dobromilskego.

Подано огляд краєзнавчих праць з історії релігійної культури ранньомо-дерного Перемишля. Виокремлено спеціальні праці із дослідження східного чернецтва на теренах міста. Представлено огляд документальних зібрань до вивчення історії онастирськогоосподарства. Подано підставові історичні відомості про чернечий осередок східного обряду при катедральному соборі Різдва Івана Хрестителя в місті Перемишлі. Встановлено, що до нашого часу не збереглася фундаційна документація цієї обителі. Натомість віднайдено та запроваджено до наукового обігу акти перемишльського гродського суду: вве-дення у володіння, орендний контракт, інвентарний опис, маніфестація. Окреслено шляхи набуття монастирського майна та визначено матеріаль-не забезпечення обителі. Реконструйовано біограми світських дарувальників та василіанського чернецтва, яке працювало при катедральному соборі. З’ясо-вано обставини виникнення судових суперечок за монастирське майно, спри-чинені переходом юрисдикції василіанських монахів із єпархіального до прото-ігуменського підпорядкування. Представлено опис монастирського фільварку. Визначено умови передачі фільварку в оренду. Запропоновано добірку доку-ментів для дослідження історії господарства добромильської обителі.
