Psychologiczna analiza systemów rodzinnych nastolatek doświadczających w przeszłości przemocy fizycznej oparta jest na analizie porównawczej danych uzyskanych z badań wykorzystujących metody autorstwa Marii Braun-Gałkowskiej: Skala Powodzenia Małżeństwa, Skala Postaw Rodzicielskich i Schematyczny Rysunek Rodziny. Badania przeprowadzono na populacji 60 rodzin. Jedną połowę stanowiły rodziny nastolatek doświadczających przemocy fizycznej, a drugą połowę stanowiły rodziny nastolatek nie doświadczających w dzieciństwie przemocy fizycznej ze strony swoich rodziców. Analiza uzyskanych wyników wskazuje na istotne różnice pomiędzy systemami rodzinnymi badanych dziewcząt.

The psychological analysis of family systems where adolescent female offspring had domestic violence experience is based on the comparative study of samples collected with the method developed by Maria Braun-Gałkowski: The Happy Marriage Scale, the Parental Attitudes Scale and Schematic Drawing of a Family. The sample covered 60 families. The examined group was divided to equal parts in families where adolescent girls had parental abuse/violence experience, and the control group, where this had not been the case. The analysis of the results thus obtained demonstrate, that there exist important differences within the family systems of both respondent groups.
