The professionalism and competence of quality teaching practice in higher education institutions is becoming more significant since they try to respond to an increasingly diverse and perceptive student commu-nity’s issues concerning standards and quality in the global context. In the past several decades there are growing appeals for innovative re-search-based pedagogy that designs relationship-centred education as well as provides cutting edge professional development of the 21st cen-tury educators. The aim of our research is to further extend current knowledge of “student engagement” as a core aim of the NUS paradigm for the future of Ukraine’s higher education. The research has provided evidence for embedded sustainable partnership in the NUS that will sus-tain a strong sense of community among teachers and students. The key to achieving the development of such partnership learning communities are traced in NUS formula and its nine key elements are seen to encour-age their development. In order to identify and build a conceptual model for PoP in the NUS, the author of the given research attempted to map the territory of the primary school. The paper has led us to conclude the PoP, in our opinion, provides an opportunity to provide conditions for the development of the student’s creative personality, the implementa-tion of the tasks of the concept of the NUS, the creation of positive moti-vation of students for educational and cognitive activities, the need for self-knowledge, self-realization and self-improvement, the introduction of a modern approach to constructing a lesson, creating optimal condi-tions for developing the student’s creative abilities at lessons, developing social and civic competencies of the student.

Each unit should acquire the ability to predict and avoiding threats, as well as learn how to deal with dangerous and crisis situations, including by their proper assessment and assessment of their capabilities. The problem is making a breakthrough in perceiving threats, as well as educating the population and preparing for life. It is necessary to change the way of thinking about general, potential global threats as well as the local area. It is impossible to overestimate the right education, which is part of the basic human need: to be safe. The aim of the article is to try to organize knowledge in the field of education for safety, taking into account its axiological and psychological aspects, as well as the legal context.

Każda jednostka powinna zdobyć umiejętność przewidywania i unikania zagrożeń, a także nauczyć się, jak radzić sobie w sytuacjach niebezpiecznych i kryzysowych, m.in. przez ich właściwy osąd oraz ocenę swoich możliwości. Problemem jest dokonanie przełomu w dostrzeganiu zagrożeń, a także odpowiednie edukowanie społeczeństwa i przygotowanie do życia. Konieczna jest zmiana sposobu myślenia na temat potencjalnych zagrożeń zarówno w wymiarze globalnych, jak i w sferze lokalnej. Nie do przecenienia jest właściwa edukacja, wpisująca się w realizację podstawowej potrzeby człowieka - poczucia bezpieczeństwa. Celem artykułu jest próba uporządkowania wiedzy w zakresie edukacji dla bezpieczeństwa, uwzględniając jej aksjologiczne i psychologiczne aspekty, jak również kontekst prawny.

The article is an analysis of a performance of a swimmer who managed to win eight gold olympic medals in one tournament (China, 2008). The research has been conducted over anthropometrical, physiological, biochemical and psychological parameters of an athlete as well as his diet. Additionally, some attention was drawn to the training load, its changes, consequences and influence on the swimmer’s career.
