This article presents architectural barriers and ways of their elimination in relation to the sense of security of persons with dysfunction of motor organs. The scope of self-government authority activities in this topic has been presented through the prism of legal and organizational conditions. As an example selected the Gniezno poviat and the 2017 annual plan of the authorities of this poviat.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest prezentacja problemu istnienia barier architektonicznych i sposobów ich likwidacji w odniesieniu do problematyki poczucia bezpieczeństwa osób z dysfunkcją narządów ruchu. Zakres przedsięwzięć prowadzonych przez władze jednostek administracji terenowej została ukazana przez pryzmat uwarunkowań prawnych i organizacyjnych. Jako przykład wybrano Powiat Gniezno oraz roczny plan działań władz powiatu z roku 2017.
