Independent socio-religious stations are an important element of the radio market in Poland, where the phenomenon of networking and program formatting is still progressing. After almost 30 years of development of the Catholic radio, its creators present different visions of programs, radio formats and various approaches to evangelistic content. Radio Emaus, which has been analysed in this article, is an existing radio station of the Archdiocese of Poznań for over 23 years. It is the only local Catholic radio station in Poznań and one of the three operating in Greater Poland. In the article, the author presented details of the goals and assumptions of the socio-religious profile (character) of this station and detailed analysis of the program in selected research period. As a result, the scope of implementation by Radio Emaus of the socio-religious profile, information function and others, related to fulfilling the function of the radio as a local medium, has been showed.

Samodzielne stacje społeczno-religijne są istotnym elementem rynku radiowego w Polsce, na którym wciąż postępuje zjawisko sieciowania i formatowania programowego. Po niemal 30 latach rozwoju radiofonii katolickiej jej twórcy prezentują różne wizje programów, odmienne formaty radiowe oraz rozmaite ujęcia ewangelizacyjnych treści. Badane w artykule Radio Emaus jest istniejącą od ponad 23 lat rozgłośnią archidiecezji poznańskiej. To jedyna lokalna radiostacja katolicka w Poznaniu i jedna z trzech działających w Wielkopolsce. W artykule wyszczególniono cele i założenia społeczno-religijnego profilu (charakteru) tej rozgłośni oraz dokonano szczegółowej analizy programowej w wybranym okresie badawczym. W efekcie ukazano zakres realizacji przez Radio Emaus społeczno-religijnego profilu, funkcji informacyjnej oraz innych, związanych z wypełnianiem funkcji radia jako medium lokalnego.

The article is an interdisciplinary analysis of how celebration of the 1050th anniversary of Poland’s baptism was presented in the catholic media. Based on the example of Radio Emaus (Poznań), mission of this radio station was scrutinized with the aid of lexicographic and legislative studies as well as catholic social study. Radio Emaus’s pre-evangelizing, evangelizing and confessional program fulfills the station’s mission included in its statute. The objects of the research are radio programs broadcast between September 2015 and August 2016. The radio material embraces long recordings dedicated to such issues as society and religion, history and culture as well as celebrations, their broadcasts and summaries.

Artykuł stanowi interdyscyplinarne omówienie prezentacji jubileuszu 1050. rocznicy chrztu Polski w mediach katolickich. Na przykładzie poznańskiego Radia Emaus analizowano jego misję, sięgając po opracowania leksykograficzne, legislacyjne oraz katolicką naukę społeczną. Program pre-ewangelizacyjny, ewangelizacyjny i konfesyjny stanowi wypełnienie misji stacji, zapisanej w jej statucie. Przedmiotem badań są audycje emitowane od września 2015 do sierpnia 2016 roku Materiał obejmuje wielogodzinne nagrania o tematyce społeczno-religijnej, historycznej i kulturalnej, informujące o obchodach, relacjonujące je oraz podsumowujące.
