A disease or disorder is defined as rare in European Union when it affects less than 5 in 10 thousands citizens. A lot of genetic diseases affect children and is characterized by intellectual disability. The specificities of rare diseases - limited number of patients and scarcity of relevant knowledge and expertise - single them out as a unique domain of researches. This article presents special educators opinions on rehabilitation of children with rare disorder and intellectual disability in a special school.
