VERYFICATION OF LOCATION PROBLEM IN ECONOMIC RESEARCH

In economic research very often the location problem in the single sample or estimation  of the difference in two samples location is commonly tested by experimental economists. Usually the used tests are Wilcoxon test for single sample location or Wilcoxon – Mann – Whitney for two samples location problem. Unfortunately those tests have some disadvantages such as robustness against assumptions or week efficiency. In the paper, some less known procedures, which allow avoid those problems, will be presented. Considered methods will be illustrated on the example of the data  analysis from real-estate market.

W pracy dokonano analizy i oceny przestrzennego zróżnicowania województw pod względem obrotu oraz wysokość średnich cen lokali mieszkalnych oraz nieruchomości zabudowanych budynkami mieszkalnymi w 2014 roku. Wykorzystując hierarchiczne procedury aglomeracyjne dokonano grupowania województw na jednorodne klasy ze względu na badane zmienne rynku nieruchomości.

This paper analyses and evaluates spatial differentiation among provinces regarding the turnover and prices of housing premises and real-estates with housing premises in 2014. With the application of hierarchical agglomerational procedures, the provinces under study were grouped into homogenous classes using the analysed real-estate market variables.
