Digitalizacja zasobów językowych umożliwia przeprowadzanie badań nad językiem na niespotykaną dotąd skalę. Komputerowe bazy językowe i nowoczesne oprogramowanie w postaci analizatorów tekstu różnego typu (semantycznych, morfosyntaktycznych i innych) wykorzystują w swoich badaniach zarówno językoznawcy deskryptywiści, jak i przedstawiciele lingwistyki preskryptywnej. Artykuł oferuje analizę aktualnej sytuacji badawczej uzusu językowego i normy językowej, uwzględniając nie tylko literaturę normatywną, lecz także obszerne studia deskryptywne, w celu wskazania konieczności syntezy obustronnej recepcji i wzajemnego uwzględniania wyników badań wymienionych gałęzi językoznawstwa w procesie aktualizacji standardu językowego, jak też konieczność sprecyzowania użycia kryterium kwantytatywnego w działaniach związanych z prognostyką rozwoju normy. Artykuł ogranicza się do schematycznego i egzemplarycznego przedstawienia obszaru rekcji dopełniaczowej czasownika polskiego.

The digitization of language resources enables to explore natural languages in a previously unprecedented scale. In their research descriptive linguistic researcher as well as prescriptive linguists make use of computer based language resources and modern software in the form of text analyzers of various types (semantic, morphosyntactic). The article offers an analysis of the current research situation on language use and language norm taking into consideration not only normative linguistic literature, but also extensive descriptive language studies to indicate the necessity for synthesis of mutual reception and mutual consideration of research results of both linguistic research areas in the process of the actualizing language standard, as well as the need to clarify the application of quantitative criterion in development of standard prognosis related activities focusing schematic and exemplary the genitive government of the polish verb.
