This article considers Jakub Banasiak’s book, published two years ago. Banasiak describes the nominalization processes in sentences expressing a causal relation drawing on material from the Polish and Bulgarian languages that are interesting for Bulgarists and Slavists. In addition to the examples presented in the monograph and their discussion, the theoretical considerations are noteworthy, and constitute a reminder and introduction to the practical part.

Tekst dotyczy wydanej przed dwoma laty książki Jakuba Banasiaka. W książce Jakub Banasiak opisuje interesujące dla bułgarystów, i slawistów w ogóle, procesy nominalizacyjne w określonych zdaniach wyrażających relację przyczynowo-skutkową. Poza prezentowanymi w monografii przykładami oraz ich omówieniem warte uwagi są rozważania teoretyczne, będące niejako przypomnieniem i wprowadzeniem do części praktycznej.
