Struktura relacji w rodzinie pochodzenia a poczucie wsparcia i osamotnienia

Celem prezentowanych badań było ustalenie związku pomiędzy strukturą relacji wewnątrzrodzinnych w ujęciu Modelu Kołowego Davida Olsona a spostrzeganym wsparciem społecznym od rodziny oraz przeżywanym poczuciem osamotnienia. Badaniami objęto 133 osoby dorosłe – 114 kobiet i 19 mężczyzn, w wieku od 21 do 52 lat. Zastosowano skalę FACES–IV D. Olsona w polskiej adaptacji A. Margasińskiego pod nazwą Skale Oceny Rodziny, Skalę Wsparcia Społecznego K. Kmiecik-Baran oraz Skalę Samotności UCLA D. Russella, L A. Peplau i C.E. Cutrona w adaptacji J. Rembowskiego. Rezultaty wskazują, że relacje wewnątrzrodzinne istotnie wiążą się z odczuwanym od rodziny wsparciem informacyjnym, materialnym, wartościującym i emocjonalnym oraz z poczuciem osamotnienia w wymiarze emocjonalnym i społecznym. Ponadto rodzina zrównoważona dostarcza swoim członkom silniejszego wsparcia oraz skuteczniej chroni ich przed poczuciem osamotnienia niż pozostałe typy systemów rodzinnych.

The aim of the study was to establish the relationship between the structure of family relations according to Circumplex Model by David Olson and a sense of support and a feeling of loneliness. The study involved 133 adults – 114 women and 19 men, aged from 21 to 52 years. FACES–IV by D. Olson adapted by A. Margasiński as The Family Assessment Scales, Social Support Scale by K. Kmiecik-Baran, UCLA Loneliness Scale by D. Russell, L.A. Peplau and C.E. Cutrona in the adaptation of J. Rembowski were used. The results indicate that family relationships are significantly associated with perceived informational, material, evaluative and emotional support from family and with a sense of loneliness in the emotional and social dimensions. Furthermore the most balanced family provides its members with stronger support and protects them from a feeling of loneliness than other types of family systems.
