Niniejsze opracowanie jest próbą identyfikacji obszarów względnej przewagi konkurencyjnej gminy Kozienice w podregionie radomskim i własnych, lokalnych obszarów przewagi konkurencyjnej oraz ocena ich strategicznego wpływu na konkurencyjność podregionu i gminy w kształtowaniu lokalnej jakości życia mieszkańców. Autor przyjmuje, iż poziom i jakość życia mieszkańców gminy są również pozytywnym skutkiem właściwie prowadzonej przez gminę lokalnej polityki rozwojowej, polegającej na ciągłym równoważeniu tego rozwoju. Pożądanym rezultatem tego procesu jest możliwie wysoki i zharmonizowany stan ładu: gospodarczego, społecznego, środowiskowego i instytucjonalnego. Zastosowana metoda badawcza triangulacji, w konkurencyjności względnej dane GUS, w konkurencyjności własnej analiza warsztatowa SWOT oraz obserwacja uczestnicząca autora umożliwią lepszą interpretację wyników badań i wykorzystanie ich w poprawie kompleksowej konkurencyjności gminy i podregionu.

This study is an attempt to identify the areas of relative competitive advantage of the Kozienice commune in the Radomski sub-region and its own local competitive advantage areas and to assess their strategic impact on the competitiveness of the sub-region and the commune in shaping the local quality of life of the residents. The author assumes that the level and quality of life of the commune's residents is also a positive result of the local development policy properly implemented by the commune, consisting in the constant balancing of this development. The desired result of this process is a possibly high and harmonized state of order: economic, social, environmental and institutional. The applied triangulation research method, relative competitiveness in CSO data, in self-competitiveness SWOT analysis and participant observation, will allow a better interpretation of research results and their use in improving the comprehensive competitiveness of the commune and sub-region.
