Compliance with the rules of political correctness in schools located in culturally diverse environments is not only political but also methodical challenge. One form of this task is called safe spaces, which are territorial borderlands in the reality of schools which apply the principles of dialogue on the basis of political correctness. Due to the different understanding of political correctness and the possibility of lobbying by representatives of minorities on the organizers of safe space, we have to deal with the abuse of their status. As a result, the ideas of political correctness and the establishment of intercultural communication are often questioned, challenged or it has been give them a meaning far from the original. The article presents an excerpt from a master’s thesis entitled ‘Intimacy in the acting profession. Methods of safe working in the light of the growing use of intimacy coordination’ and is an attempt at describing and analysing the author’s experience of working with intimate content in her practice to date, using the example of working on the lead role of Rita in the short film ‘These Damn Peonies’ telling the story of a young woman searching for her orgasm. An intimacy coordinator was not hired for this project, and there were difficult situations for the author, but also for the entire production team, during the filming of the numerous intimate scenes. The author describes the individual shooting days and reflects on how specific issues of working with intimacy should be resolved based on foreign literature on the subject and on techniques learned in workshops with intimacy coordinator Vanessa Coffey, one of the founders of The Intimacy Practitioners’ Guild EU/UK.

Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą ukazania bezpiecznej przestrzeni życia człowieka na pograniczu polsko-rosyjskim. Autor opracowania poprzez badania chce zwrócić uwagę na uwarunkowania, jakie rządzą życiem mieszkańców pogranicza polsko-rosyjskiego. Wśród wielu podziałów barier dokonywanych z punktu widzenia ich funkcji na szczególną uwagę zasługują te, które uwzględniają aspekt rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego. Wyróżnić można tu bariery typu naturalnego oraz zespół barier charakteryzujących strukturę danego terytorium (przygranicze polsko-rosyjskie), czyli demograficzne, kulturowe, ekonomiczne, organizacyjne i strukturalne. W zakresie lokalnego bezpieczeństwa społecznego (bezpieczeństwa przygranicza) dominującą rolę odgrywa administracja publiczna (rządowa i samorządowa). Wynika to z zadań państwa i funkcji publicznych podmiotów, które nie konkurują ze sobą gospodarczo i nie są nastawione na zysk. Istotne znaczenie dla rozwoju lokalnego bezpieczeństwa społecznego w Polsce miały zmiany w systemie administracji publicznej, w tym szczególnie utworzenie samorządu terytorialnego. Model systemu obejmuje sferę wewnętrzną funkcjonowania państwa. Pozwala ustalić, jak funkcjonuje system bezpieczeństwa i poszczególne jego elementy (co i kto o czym decyduje) oraz pozwala na: określenie systemu kierowania bezpieczeństwem społecznym, koordynację elementów wykonawczych systemu bezpieczeństwa, charakteru oddziaływań otoczenia na system, wskazanie regulacji prawnych określających organizację i funkcjonowanie systemu, oddziaływanie systemu na zagrożenia.

The article is an attempt to portray safe space of human life in the Polish-Russian borderland. The author of the study by the research wants to get attention to conditioning which rules life of ihabitants of the Polish-Russian borderland. Among many splits of barriers made from the point of view of their functions, the ones that count the aspect of social-economic development are worthy of particular noticing. It is possible to distinguish barriers of natural type and group of barriers typifying the structure of given territory (Polish-Russian borderland) that is demographic, cultural, economic, organizational and structural. In the local social safety (borderland safety) civil service (government and self-government) acts dominant role. It results from tasks of government and functions of public entities which do not compete with themselves economically and aren’t oriented on profit. Crucial meaning for development of local social safety in Poland were changes in system of public administration, especially creation of municipal government. The model of system includes internal sphere of state functioning. It allows determining how the system of security and its individual elements function. It also enables to project system of social safety management, coordinate executive elements of safety system, characterize environment influence on the system, point legal regulation that determine system organization and functioning; system influence on threats.

Duże centra handlowe jako obiekty potencjalnych ataków terrorystycznych

Large shopping centers are one of the most sensitive soft targets. They are susceptible to attacks with both firearms and various types of white weapons, especially knives. They are attractive to emotionally and mentally unstable people who want to be famous. Despite monitoring and protecting the facility, it is almost impossible to stop the attack of a potential terrorist. Shopping centers combined into one unit with rail and bus stations are extremely difficult to secure because conflicting security procedures are often used here. It is advisable to build special safety procedures for such hybrid.

Duże centra handlowe są jednymi z najbardziej wrażliwych celów miękkich. Są podatne na ataki zarówno z użyciem broni palnej, jak i różnego rodzaju białej broni, zwłaszcza noży. Są atrakcyjne dla ludzi niestabilnych emocjonalnie i psychicznie, którzy chcą być sławni. Pomimo monitorowania i ochrony obiektu niemal niemożliwe jest powstrzymanie ataku potencjalnego terrorysty. Centra handlowe połączone w jedną całość z dworcami kolejowymi i autobusowymi są niezwykle trudne do zabezpieczenia, ponieważ często stosuje się tutaj sprzeczne procedury bezpieczeństwa. Wskazane jest budowanie dla takich hybryd specjalnych procedur bezpieczeństwa.
