Determinanty kształtowania się poziomu depozytów oszczędnościowych gospodarstw domowych w krajach strefy euro

Praca prezentuje wyniki badania, mającego na celu ocenę wpływu sytuacji materialnej, aktywności na rynku finansowym, cech społeczno-demograficznych oraz wybranych subiektywnych ocen i przekonań gospodarstw domowych na poziom ich depozytów oszczędnościowych w grupie 15 krajów strefy euro. W analizie regresyjnej kształtowania się depozytów oszczędnościowych wykorzystane zostały dane jednostkowe o 50 456 gospodarstwach domowych, rezydujących w 14 krajach strefy euro. Pochodzą one z bazy Eurosystemu HFCS. Otrzymane wyniki pozwoliły potwierdzić istotny wpływ określonych zmiennych odnoszących się do rozpatrywanych cech gospodarstw domowych na zjawisko kształtowania się poziomu ich depozytów oszczędnościowych w grupie krajów strefy euro. Heterogeniczność tworzących ją krajów sprawiła jednak, że kluczowe znaczenie w powyższym zakresie przypisano specyficznym, lokalnym uwarunkowaniom, wyrażonym krajem rezydowania gospodarstwa oraz sytuacji materialnej opisanej zamożnością netto.

The paper presents the results of the study on the impact of household’s financial well-being, activity on the financial market, socio-demographic characteristics, and risk attitude on the level of its saving deposits in the euro area. The regression analysis of the saving deposits formation is based on the Eurosystem HFCS data relating to 50,456 households residing in 14 euro area countries. The obtained results allowed to confirm the significant impact of selected variables related to the considered sets of household features, e.g. net wealth, on the analysed phenomenon in the group of countries. However, the heterogeneity of the member states resulted in the importance of their local conditions as well.
