The article is an analysis of the function of dystopia in The Silver Dream of Salomea by Juliusz Słowacki. In this drama, dystopia is identified with an evil place which is the important part of space solutions in the world represented in the piece. A new view of Ukrainian steppe representation is possible thanks to this perspective. The analysis is focused not only on space solutions, but also on theatrical metaphors that represent the inside space of the steppe. As a result of the dystopic perspective, the formal solutions which reinforce the mystical concept of the world presented in the drama become quite conspicuous.

The paper aims to pinpoint one of the main interpretational problems of Józef Tischner’s philosophy – the dispute around the notion of scene, which is the basic concept in Tischner’s ‘philosophy of drama’. It is as well strongly connected with theatre studies. That is why it is common to regard Tischner’s philosophy in a theatrical context. On the other hand, Tischner’s scene is also referred to world of entities, which in traditional philosophy was a field of ontological investigates. Both abovementioned tendencies are a result of misunderstanding Tischner’s thought and they lead to the wrong interpretation of his philosophy of man. Yet according to Tischnerman does not play in a drama as an actor on the scene, but rather he is a dramatical being. Proper understanding of Tischner’s notion of scene is essential to understand his philosophical project and to recognize its value and novelty.

Artykuł omawia narastający proces mediatyzacji współczesnego teatru. Analizując kilkanaście wybranych spektakli współczesnych reżyserów (m.in. Jaya Scheiba, Lukasa Bangertera, Krzysztofa Warlikowskiego, Krystiana Lupy, Wojciecha Ziemilskiego), wskazuje na specyficzne wykorzystanie narzędzi medialnych w kształtowaniu wydarzenia scenicznego. Postaci teatralne upodabniające się w stylu bycia do modelu znanego z popkultury, polityki, reklam, billboardów są podstawą do wskazania na rodzący się nowy paradygmat przedstawień teatralnych, silnie absorbujących aktualne sposoby mediatyzacji rzeczywistości. Autor analizuje symptomy przenoszenia tego, co dramatyczne, dialogiczne i teatralne, w obszary rekonfiguracji percepcji, kognitywnych manipulacji i gier z wrażeniami. Puentą artykułu jest próba skodyfikowania jednej z tendencji teatru współczesnego, w której główną rolę odgrywa otwieranie widza na nowe przestrzenie kultury, które mają charakter zbiorowo doświadczanej rzeczywistości rozszerzonej.

The article discusses the growing process of mediatization of contemporary theater. Analyzing the dozen of chosen performances of contemporary directors (Jay Scheib, Lukas Bangerter, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Krystian Lupa, Wojciech Ziemilski) indicates the specific use of media tools in shaping the events on stage. Characters of the contemporary theater are often created in style of celebrities of pop culture, politics, advertising. The analyzed trends allow to point out the emerging new paradigm of theatrical performances, strongly absorbing current ways of mediatization of reality. The author analyzes the performances in which can we observe transferring the traditionally elements of theatre in the new areas of technological mediatization, manipulation of perception, cognitive convergence and affects. The author also proposes an attempt to codify one of the trends in contemporary theater, in which the main role is played by opening new space of culture, which is a collective experience of Augmented Reality.

This essay looks at the ways in which the evolving early modern urban space of London was re-presented to early modern Londoners. It focuses on aspects of how the sprawling city was culturally and literally mapped out in theatrical and other performances. It discusses in particular Thomas Middleton’s A Chaste Maid in Cheapside and Ben Jonson’s The Alchemist as plays that commented respectively on the Cheapside as a luxury market and on Blackfriars as an up-and-coming quarter boasting a new and successful theatrical venue. The area between the city and Westminster is also discussed, as is the spatial particularity of Windsor described and performed in Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor and in contemporary chorography.

The article points out the characteristics and analysis of the use of interdisciplinary scenic and costume design relationships in technical education. The possibilities of applying tech-nical procedures in teaching at preschool level are presented, which provides an important basis for designing scenery and costumes. The focus was on the identification of important aspects of manual and artistic work, taking into account the interdisciplinary relationships and interdisciplinary context, applied in contemporary preschool education. The article shows the artistic, technical and dramatic coherence, and their potential in contemporary pedagogical space.

W artykule zwrócono uwagę na charakterystykę i analizę wykorzystania interdyscyplinarnych związków scenicznego i kostiumowego projektowania w edukacji technicznej. Przedstawiono możliwości zastosowania technicznych procedur nauczania pracy na wczesnoszkolnym poziomie nauczania, które są istotną podstawą w projektowaniu scenografii i kostiumów. Skoncentrowano się na identyfikacji ważnych aspektów pracy ręcznej i artystycznej z uwzględnieniem związków międzyprzedmiotowych w kontekście interdyscyplinarnym, zastosowanych w warunkach współczesnej edukacji wczesnoszkolnej. W artykule pokazano spójność artystyczno-techniczną i dramatyczną oraz ich potencjał we współczesnej przestrzeni pedagogicznej.

Príspevok venuje pozornosť charakteristike a analýze využívania interdisciplinárnych vzťahov scénického a kostýmového výtvarníctva v technickom vzdelávaní. Prezentuje možnosti uplatnenia technických postupov pracovného vyučovania v primárnom stupni vzdelávania, ktoré sú nosnou základňou v scénickom a kostýmovom výtvarníctve. Zameriavame sa na spoznávanie dôležitých aspektov vremeselno-umeleckej práci so zreteľom na medzipredmetové presahy a interdisciplinárne súvislosti uplatniteľné v podmienkach súčasného primárneho vzdelávania. Poukazuje na súvstažnosť výtvarno-technického a dramatického a ich potenciál v modernom pedagogickom priestore.
