W opinii autora polską psychologię jako dyscyplinę naukową charakteryzuje negatywne zjawisko, które w znacznym stopniu utrudnia jej rozwój. Jest to automarginalizacja oznaczająca ograniczenie komunikacji naukowej do wyłącznie polskiego środowiska naukowego poprzez publikowanie oryginalnych prac badawczych w przeważającej mierze w polskojęzycznych czasopismach naukowych.

In the opinion of the author, Polish psychology as a scientific discipline is charactarized by a negative phenomenon, which remarkably hinder its development, which I named self-marginalization. It indicates the limitation of scientific communication merely to the Polish scientific circle by publishing original research contributions mostly in Polish-language journals.

Autonomy of science and art is an ideal of every civilized society. The distance between a certain society and this ideal depends on a large number of parameters, among which cultural enlightenment and consciousness of the main protagonists in realization of these two areas seem to be most important. Unfortunately, Serbia cannot boast with a high level of independency of creative processes. Nowadays, in formal sense, they enjoy a higher level of autonomy in terms of the state ideology; however, at the same time, they are essentially and basically restricted by it. The very notion of autonomy here is related to financial and, more than this, to ideological independence of free and creative thought, that is to the question to which extent scientific creativity manage to transcend current cultural-historical-social context and to find universal regularities of human civilization in it. Intensity of social changes and postmodern market ideologies are reflected both at official scientific policy and at internal determination of context and concept of ethnological/anthropological researching which quite often become trapped in the shallow of topicality.

The article presents the results of the parametric assessment of research units in the field of pedagogical research carried out in 2017. It outlines the principles and parameters of the assessment and its conditions. This area is covered by science metrics – a new field of comparative research in scientific communication. The article further presents new indicators for the analysis of source documents and proposes a conclusion that is relevant for the modernization of the state scientific policy and the policy of particular organizational units of universities and research institutes.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki oceny parametrycznej jednostek naukowych z obszaru badań pedagogicznych z roku 2017. Przybliżono zasady i parametry oceny i jej uwarunkowania. Tą problematyką zajmuje się naukometria – nowa dziedzina badań porównawczych w obszarze komunikacji naukowej. Ukazano nowe wskaźniki analizy dokumentów źródłowych. Zwieńczeniem analizy są wnioski istotne do modernizacji praktyki z zakresu polityki naukowej państwa oraz polityki poszczególnych jednostek organizacyjnych uczelni jak też instytutów badawczych.
