Scouting is a social and educational movement, promoting the ideas of helpfulness, self-improvement and fraternity. Scouting activities shape the attitudes and characters of young people. The history of scouting on Polish territory began in 1910–1911. The first scout teams in Uniejów were formed as early as 1916. In 1975 was set up the Uniejów Troop of the Polish Scouting Association, which belonged at that time to the Konin Section, and was transferred in 1992 to the Łódź Section. The article presents the activities of the Uniejów Troop during its more than forty-years long history.
