In 1920, the palace in Łąck near Płock and the surrounding area were used by the Polish Scouting Association. The intention of the Headquarters of the Polish Scouting Association was to be a scout work center and a material base for the organized scout courses. In July 1920, a scout instructor course for teachers took place there. In August 1920, refugees were accommodated in the palace and there was a military hospital. Due to the damage done by the hospital staff and refugees in 1921, the palace was returned to the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and State Goods and in 1923 it was handed over to the State Stud Farm in Łąck.

W 1920 r. pałac w Łącku koło Płocka wraz z otaczającym go terenem był użytkowany przez Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego. W zamierzeniu Naczelnictwa ZHP miał to być ośrodek pracy harcerskiej i baza materialna dla organizowanych kursów harcerskich. W lipcu 1920 r. odbył się tam harcerski kurs instruktorski dla nauczycielek. W sierpniu 1920 r. w pałacu byli zakwaterowani uchodźcy oraz mieścił się szpital wojskowy. Z powodu zniszczeń, dokonanych przez obsługę szpitala i uchodźców w 1921 r. pałac wrócił pod zarząd Ministerstwa Rolnictwa i Dóbr Państwowych i w 1923 r. został przekazany Państwowemu Stadu Ogierów w Łącku.
