Analiza struktury kapitałowej spółek z sektora deweloperskiego

W artykule naszkicowano najpopularniejsze teorie kształtowania się struktury kapitałowej w firmach. Następnie zbadano, czy istnieje związek między rentownością spółki a jej poziomem zadłużenia. Osobno zbadano spółki zaliczane do sektora deweloperskiego, a jako grupę kontrolną wybrano spółki zaliczane do indeksu WIG 20. Okazało się, że bardziej rentowne spółki preferują własne źródła finansowania. Ponadto zadłużenie spółek z sektora deweloperskiego jest niższe niż średnia rynkowa.

The most common capital structure theories were presented in the paper. Next, it was examined for selected companies whether profitability is correlated with debt and equity ratio. The first analyzed group was composed of real estate companies. The second group was composed of companies listed on WIG 20 index. It was concluded that high profitability is connected with low debt. Moreover, on average, real estate companies have a higher share of equity in total liabilities than an average market company.
