Psychospołeczne uwarunkowania aktywności zawodowej byłych więźniów na rynku pracy

The subject of research in this article is the psychosocial determinants of professional activity of people after serving a prison sentence. The research group consisted of a total of 98 former prisoners from the Radom poviat. Tools such as the Schwarzer and Jerusalem Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), the Endler and Parker Stress Coping Questionnaire (CISS), the IMD Schaling Inventory, and the original questionnaire were used. The results of the research showed that former inmates are characterized by an average sense of effectiveness, an evasive style of coping with stress and an average severity of psychopathic traits, however, unemployed and employed respondents show greater deficits in personal functioning. Environmental factors that play an important role in the professional activity of the respondents is the occurrence of prejudices among employers and co-workers and the lack of social and personal support.

Przedmiotem badań w niniejszym artykule są psychospołeczne uwarunkowania aktywności zawodowej osób po odbyciu kary pozbawienia wolności. Grupę badawczą stanowiło łącznie 117 byłych więźniów z powiatu radomskiego. Zastosowano narzędzia takie, jak: Skala Uogólnionej Własnej Skuteczności (GSES) Schwarzera i Jerusalema, Kwestionariusz Radzenia Sobie w Sytuacjach Stresowych (CISS) Endlera i Parkera, Inwentarz IMD Schaling oraz autorski kwestionariusz ankiety. Wyniki badań wykazały, iż byli osadzeni cechują się przeciętnym poczuciem skuteczności, unikowym stylem radzenia sobie ze stresem i przeciętnym nasileniem cech psychopatii, jednak większe deficyty w funkcjonowaniu osobowym wykazują respondenci bezrobotni niż zatrudnieni. Z kolei wśród czynników środowiskowych ważną rolę dla aktywności zawodowej badanych pełni występowanie uprzedzeń wśród pracodawców i współpracowników oraz brak wsparcia socjalnego i osobowego.
