Culture is the totality of the material and spiritual heritage of humanity, gathered and adhesion should be shaped a person’s life from an early age. The main role in this process are: the family home and the school. It also applies to the process of the formation of the student to the broader safety culture, which creates and maintains all attitudes and actions to protect the health and life. The law on the education system for the dissemination of knowledge among youth about safety and the development of appropriate attitudes towards risks, however, it seems that this system is not sufficient. Central Institute for labour protection-materials developed a “culture of safety”, which constitute an invaluable added value in the process of training students at all levels of school education.

The long-term process of education, and above all, shaping the desired social attitudes among young citizens of each country is the basis of the future social order. Individual moral order translates directly into order in social structures and relations, which is important in the context of ensuring both internal and external security. In an orderly society, the so-called “strong moral backbone” is much more resistant to threats, and also much more effective in counteracting them. Unfortunately, the issue of moral education is not much emphasised in contemporary educational systems. Therefore, the main goal of this article is to identify the components of the moral education process as key factors shaping the contemporary order and social security. Thus, the issues of moral disorder as a source of real threats, both in the individual and social dimension, as well as the problem of moral education as the basis for shaping the desired social attitudes in the contemporary world, were analysed. In order to achieve the assumed goal, the following research methods (theoretical) were used: analysis, synthesis, abstraction, explanation, generalization, and inference. The research was carried out using the technique of examining documents and source materials.

The article combines the issues of intercultural education with the one presented in museum. The author focuses on the question of creating the positive attitude towards the Other. The first part of the text contains the theoretical basics of intercultural education and museum education. It is explained who is the Other and how should the museum lesson look like. The main part of the article presents the proposals of works of art that can be used during classes. Selected works present issues such as disability, disease, religious and cultural diversity. The autohor organizes the artworks not only between the category of otherness, but also in a kind of museum in which they are presented. Summarizing, the text discusses requirements for teachers who would like to prerepare a museum lesson with the aim of creating the positive attitude towards the Other. The aim of the article is to justify the role of literature in shaping man’s attitudes towards nature in Polish studies, and to present these issues on the basis of representative interpretations of poetry. Such objectives stem from the social needs of the changes of man’s destructive behavior, as well as from the systemic absence of these problems in Polish studies. It makes use of literature which I perceive as a particularly sensitive tool which enables us to redefine the attitudes which are shaped by culture. The theoretical part of the article discusses biocentric concepts. They challenge the anthropocentric position of human communities in biosphere, and they are based on the ethics of ecology (ecoethics), meaning observations of systemic relations between man and nature. Ecoethics is not a synonym for ecology, a morally neutral area of science which deals with relations between organisms and nature. In the second part of the article, I depict some examples of interpretations of literary works according to the rules which emerged in research on directions of ethics of ecology (selected poems by J. Przyboś, J. Podsiadło, M. Świetlicki, L.A. Moczulski). The works which appeal to sensual experiences are particularly important. Experiencing beauty seems to play an exceptional role in evoking the readers’ imaginary experiences. Aesthetic influence intensifies ethical influence of literature and other works of culture, including the need to protect nature. It incorporates their ecoethical senses. As a result, a reconciliation between man’s civilisation aspirations and a friendly coexistence in nature does not have to mean utopian aspirations.

Moczulskiego).
