The articles discusses the problem of resuming studies about the concept of a historical generation, as it was formulated by Helena Radlińska in the 1930s, oriented at recognizing its emergence from past discourse and referring to contemporary discourse, addressing the issue of generations and generationality. The main aim of the article is an attempt to find basic social and pedagogical elements of the epistemological framework of the concept, which would allow to shed light on the process of becoming a historical generation though a shared experience.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest ponowne podjęcie studiów nad konceptem pokolenia historycznego, sformułowanego przez Helenę Radlińską w latach 30. XX w., zorientowanych na odkrywanie jego wyłaniania się z dyskursu jej współczesnego oraz odnoszonych do aktualnego dyskursu, podejmującego zagadnienie pokolenia i pokoleniowości. Główny cel tekstu stanowi próba odkrycia podstawowych elementów społeczno-pedagogicznej ramy epistemologicznej tego konceptu, która pozwala oświetlić proces stawania się pokoleniem historycznym poprzez uwspólnianie doświadczenia.
