Liturgical rules concerning the performance of singing after a reading clearly indicate a pulpit, however they allow for a different place which should always be in the presbyterium in case there is no pulpit. The interchangeability of a text after a reading suggested by the Lectionary in order to facilitate singing, however, it does not apply to the Polish area, due to the standardized text of a refrain. In the case of single-line melodies, a refrain of a responsorial psalm can be repeated every verse.

Sugerowana przez Lekcjonarz mszalny wymienność tekstu po czytaniu w celu ułatwienia śpiewu nie dotyczy obszaru polskiego ‒ z racji ustandaryzowanego tekstu refrenu. W przypadku melodii jednowersowych refren psalmu responsoryjnego można powtarzać co wers.
