Der Verfasser analysiert die Stellungnahme Jesu dem alttestamentlichen Ehebruchverbot gegenüber. Zuerst wurde die Anwendung dieses Verbots im Leben Israels erörtert und dann die neue Interpretation des sechsten Gebotes dargestellt. Jesus ist nicht nur gegen seine Deformation so in Auslegung wie in Praxis vorgegangen, sondern auch hat er die Wurzel des Bösen dh. die menschliche Begehrlichkeit gezeigt und ihr die notwendigen Grenzen gestellt.
