W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono analizę społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu ze szczególnym naciskiem na jej związek z tworzeniem innowacji. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie społecznie odpowiedzialnych innowacji w aspekcie teoretycznym oraz przedstawienie dobrych praktyk. Jak pokazano na przykładach, społecznie odpowiedzialne innowacje możliwe są w obszarze produktowym, procesowym, organizacyjnym, marketingowym, jak również środowiskowym i społecznym. Wnioski prezentują potencjał CSR we wzroście innowacyjności i konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw.

The present study describes corporate social responsibility, with special emphasis on its connection with the creation of innovations. The aim of this article is to identify theory facet of the socially responsible innovation, as well as to present examples of good practices. As shown on examples, socially responsible innovations are possible in products’, processes’, organizational, marketing, as well as environmental and social areas. The conclusions illustrate the potential of CSR in accelerating the innovativeness and competitiveness of companies.
